100% Pure Beeswax
We use only clean, lightly filtered, 100% pure beeswax from beeswax cappings in our beeswax candles, with no fillers or additives. Its non-toxic properties make it perfect for a clean burning and bright fuel source as a beeswax candle.
All of our beeswax is made in the USA.
Unlike paraffin candles, beeswax is hypo-allergenic, great for people with allergies or other sensitivities, and those of us who want a clean burning candle in our homes.
Hand Poured & Hand Finished
We craft all of our beeswax candles by hand. It takes an experienced hand to ensure each candle is perfect - we don't want any air bubbles, crooked wicks, or other imperfections. Each candle is inspected to ensure its quality. We have no "factory second" beeswax candles; if the candle doesn't make the grade, it goes right back into the wax melter.
Some candle makers will ship you their product directly after removing it from the mold where it is often unleveled, uneven, and simply unattractive. We've always taken the time to carefully hand finish each candle so that our beeswax candles are as stunning to look at as they are beautiful to burn.
Honey Scented
Our beeswax candles naturally give off a luscious honey aroma. Scent varies slightly based on honey, pollen, and propolis present in the beeswax.
A candle's scent throw (i.e. the candle's ability to deliver an aroma) varies based on personal sensitivities and environment.
Golden Colored
The raw beeswax we use comes from the hive as a light golden yellow color, which we call "Natural" when we refer to the candle's color. The natural color of beeswax is determined by the remaining pollen and propolis in the wax; this color varies a little between each batch.
Our naturally golden colored beeswax candles do not contain dyes.
Antique Look
Bloom is a white film that naturally appears on beeswax over time. Our colorful beeswax candles can be kept polished for a shiny modern look or let their age show by allowing the bloom to appear over time.
The bright color of beeswax is a great backdrop for showcasing the white antique finish of the bloom.
Smoke & Soot Free
Using clean burning beeswax candles is an excellent way to keep your home free of the smoke and soot that is a common result of burning paraffin candles.
When burned in a draft free environment with the wick trimmed to 1/4" a beeswax candle will burn bright and clean with virtually no smoke or soot.
Beeswax May Have Health Benefits
Negative ions are most commonly found near moving water, such as crashing waves, thunderstorms, and waterfalls. Negative ions are believed to produce biochemical reactions that increase levels of the mood chemical serotonin, helping to alleviate depression, relieve stress, and boost our daytime energy.
While it is still debated and not yet scientifically proven, it is believed that there are other natural negative ion generators too, including our specialty, beeswax candles.

Naturally Drip Resistant
A beeswax candle is less likely to drip than other types of candles because of the complex molecular structure and higher melting point of beeswax. This allows the wick to burn the molten beeswax at just the right pace so it doesn't drip out of the wax pool. These qualities combined with a properly maintained wick, a level burning surface, and draft free environment will help prevent drips from occurring.
Beeswax candles are naturally drip resistant. Paraffin candles require chemical additives, like stearic acid, to make them drip less.
Candle Size
We hand pour each of our beeswax tea light candles. The dimensions listed are an approximation and will vary slightly for each candle. Please consider each candle a work of art.
We make outstanding candles, but we are humans, not machines. Learn more about why candle size varies.
Burn Time
Burn time is a close approximation and will vary somewhat based on your environment and burning preferences. Our listed burning times are conservative averages, not a guarantee. Proper wick maintenance helps (keep wick trimmed, avoid drafts).
Some wax will remain unused after the wick has been fully burned, this is normal.

These beeswax candles are absolutely the best! 100% natural beeswax is so important to me. I am a devout Roman Catholic. In the celebration of the holy Eucharist, the mass it is vitally important for the candles to be used during that celebration to be 100% natural beeswax. They are pure, natural, right from the hive, right from God himself the Lord Jesus Christ! I love these candles. It should not be a surprise to anyone how safe, healthy these candles are. They clean the air because natural beeswax emits negative ions. They burn so clean and the aroma is so beautiful and heavenly. Again it’s no wonder they come from the hive created by the Lord Jesus Christ! I will be ordering these again and again and again. I love them. The burn time of course is estimated. But from the candles and my order recently they burn anywhere from 4 hours and 5 minutes to 4 hours and 26 minutes so far. I am more than happy with that. They are so convenient the tea lights and the burn time is perfect because I like to use them in one complete session. Each candle. So far I have burned anywhere from one at a time to three at a time. They are beautiful. The flame is so natural golden and heavenly the aroma heaven sent. Thank you so much. Love these candles!!! I purchased the six-pack of the candles in the clear cups. The candles are able to be easily slipped out of the plastic cups, so I weighed each one. All six weighed .7 ounces each. They were all easily lit with the small wooden matches; no need to use a lighter as recommended by another brand of candle. Also, I did not trim the wicks to 1/4″ prior to lighting as some candle sites advise before lighting; just wanted to find out whether that affected burn time. All six candles burned five hours, give or take a few minutes! Great flame throughout the entire burn; no barely-lit wicks. The clear cups allow the glow of the candle to be seen and to add to the beauty of the lovely flame! The wick bases on these candles are only slightly smaller than the cups themselves; this keeps the wick well centered in the cup which allows all of the wax to be burned. So, five-hour burn time, complete burn of all wax, and beautiful flame throughout make for a most excellent bees wax tea light candle! Thank you, Bee Hive Candles. Keep up the good work!

Well, it is look like very good quality wax, smells great and customer service excellent. But burn time is big disappointment, it burned for 3 hours and 40 min, which is much less than I expected.

Thanks for your feedback! To ensure maximum burn time please keep wick trimmed to 1/4″, out of drafts. Note that when a tea light is past the half way mark, let them burn out completely to avoid wasted wax.

These candles are of outstanding quality. They burn minimum of four hours if you trim the wick before you light them. They smell heavenly while purifying the air at the same time. I have been ordering from this company for many years and have never encountered a problem. I will continue to order the tea lights for as long as I can.

These candles are fabulous! I have many sensitivities and allergies to the ingredients of most candles including soy candles. I do not get sick from these beeswax candles and they have the sweetest natural, light honey scent. The tea size last for 4-5 hrs.

I use these candles everyday to purify the air in my home. In the kitchen, after cooking on the stove I turn one on and it takes the smell of the cooking away. Also, it’s a clean, natural and sweet burning smell versus a strong odor of perfume-type burning. Beeswax is the way to go!

We hear this type of feedback from our clients occasionally, that our candles didn’t burn as long as they wanted them to. This is understandable, everyone wants to get the most value for their money. However no one offers the exact times they’ve recorded, just their feelings that they were burning too quickly. We do respect your thoughts on the matter, but know that we base our burn times on timed calculations not our personal feelings.
We’ve found that a person’s sense of time can vary greatly, depending on many environmental, emotional, and physical factors. Time flies when you are having fun! And just the opposite when you aren’t.
While we can’t guarantee a person’s perceived sense of time will match with actual time, we do guarantee our candles will be the best candles you have ever purchased! If you are unhappy with their performance, just let us know and we’ll make it right.
