Useful & Clean
This 6 inch long, stainless steel candle tool is used for digging out buried wicks. A special shaped cutting edge will plow through wax with ease. The tool is also a wick dipper which snuffs the candle smokeless.
Makes a great gift too!
Versatile Candle Care
Wick Repair: Use chisel to pry away and loosen wax from around the buried wick. Next, use scoop to carve out loose wax by scooping toward and around wick. Scooping will smooth out uneven surfaces and will create a pool for melted wax.
Cleaning: Use chisel to pry out debris, restoring candle to it's original beauty. Chisel is also good for cleaning out votive candle holders.
Snuffing: To snuff the flame, use the chisel to submerge the wick in hot wax and then re-center wick. This snuffing technique eliminates smoldering.

This tool works well to knock the wick into the wax to put the light out, and to dig out the wick when embedded in the candle.

This works very well to even up the ends of taper candles. If the wick has broken off, you can safely use this tool to pare down the top of the candle until a correct length of wick is exposed. You don’t need to worry about cutting the wick or cutting your finger.

Although you need to be careful as the edges are rough (in order to cut into the wax), this tool makes knocking the wick into the wax safe and effective, scooping wax out of the way from the wick easier, and clean up from candle holders (ex: votive holders) easier too. Love it!
