We enjoy giving free shipping to clients that spend over $150 on our beeswax candles and accessories. Simply add products to your shopping cart until the cost is $150 or over and we'll grant you free shipping automatically to anywhere in the United States. It's really that easy!

How do I calculate my shipping cost?

1. Add the items you want to the shopping cart, which takes you automatically to the Shopping Cart page.
2. On the Shopping Cart page in the 'Shipping Rates' section select your Country, State, and enter your shipping Zip/Postal Code.
3. Click the 'Recalculate' button to enable the Shipping Rates to display.

Notice the first pop-down. It auto-selects More Carriers. You can also select UPS from this pop-down.

How long does it take before you ship my order?

Shipping your order as soon as possible is very important to us. We ship orders every weekday. Typically if you place your order before 10:00 AM PST it will ship the same day, otherwise it ships the next business day. So, depending on the time you order, it may ship the same day or the next day. If there is an issue of any kind, you will be notified via e-mail or telephone. View delivery estimate chart.

How do I know when my order has shipped?

Once your order has been shipped from our facility you will automatically be sent a shipping notice email. This email will contain your shipping details, including a tracking number if available. Please be sure to add bhc@beehivecandles.com to your email white-list, to avoid this email being caught by any spam filters.

You may also track your package via our website:

1. Click the "My Account" link at the top right hand side of our site. (You'll be asked to log in, if you aren't already.)
2. On the "My Account" page, click the "Review orders / track packages" link to display your orders.
3. Click the "View or Change Order" button next to the order you wish to track.

How can I request an overnight shipping option?

Unfortunately we are unable to offer overnight shipping. Our facility's rural location prevents delivery trucks from returning to base timely enough to meet their overnight shipping deadlines.

Do you ship to APO / FPO? (Army Post Office / Fleet Post Office)

We sure do! Please place your order online as normal and select the USPS Priority Mail shipping option. Sorry, our flat rate shipping and free shipping offers do not apply to orders shipped to APO/FPO.

Please remember military addresses must show the grade, full name with middle name or initial, and PSC number, unit number, or ship name. Replace the city name with "APO " or "FPO," and the state with "AA," "AE," or "AP," and use a special ZIP Code. All APO / FPO shipments must be made by using the United States Post Office (USPS).

Do you ship to Canada?

We sure do! Shipping to Canada will use USPS Priority International Mail. Sorry, our flat rate shipping and free shipping offers do not apply.

Note about Fees, Taxes, and Duty:

• Brokerage Fees - There are no brokerage fees with USPS Priority International Mail. Because USPS and CanadaPost have long standing agreements to handle each other's mail, brokers' fees are not charged. Brokers are used by other shipping companies (UPS, Fed Ex) to import and deliver items.
• Taxes - Canada Custom only assesses taxes (GST or HST) on goods valued at $20 CAD or more. Taxes are generally 5-15% (depending on the provincial destination). A handling fee (~$8.50) is also added when an item is taxed. When taxes are charged, Customs sticks a taxes-owing form on the box and the box is held by the Post Office as a COD. Note that Customs is unable to check every box, so it's random chance if the order will be charged taxes. If taxes are due, you are responsible to pay the tax/handling when the package is retrieved.
• Duty - Due to the NAFTA (North American Free Trade Agreement), goods made in the USA that are shipped to Canada are duty free.

Do you ship outside of the United States and Canada?

No. Unfortunately we are unable to ship outside of the United States and Canada.

Notes about packing lists and gift orders

A packing list is included with each order. This packing list only lists the contents of the order; no pricing information is shown. Due to customs laws, please note that we are unable to omit invoice prices for orders outside of the U.S.

To specify the order as a gift order, simply check the 'This order is a gift.' checkbox on the Shopping Cart page. Marking an order as a gift order will allow you to enter a custom gift message later in the checkout process.

Is it ok to ship my beeswax candles in hot/cold weather?

Yes, beeswax is very resilient. We've shipped all over the US without any issues. We've shipped our beeswax candles to California, Nevada, Arizona, and Texas in the middle of summer and to Minnesota in the middle of winter. Rest assured your beeswax candles will be delivered perfectly intact regardless of the weather.
